PLANTING FOR A
BETTER FUTURE

SUSTAINABILITY

Since the beginning, O’Coffee is deeply involved with a commitment of responsibility towards the socio-cultural development of the community in an environment which the company operates.

That motivation is what make us reach the Level A certification of the Rainforest Alliance, an excellence standart reach by only few farms around the world.

SOCIAL
HOW DO WE TAKE CARE OF OUR COMMUNITY?

What the company seeks is a commitment to ethics and quality of life of the community that surrounds it and the society in general. O’Coffee performs numerous projects that benefit many people and organizations in the city. Among these projects, there are the support to the Municipal Nursery Alaide Quercia, the Volunteer Program of Farm Workers, Reforestation Project, Family Garden, Environmental Conferences and Training Courses for employees and their families, among others.

ENVIRONMENTAL
HOW DO WE TAKE CARE OF NATURE?

The ecological management of pests and diseases, the permanent preservation along water courses, the transformation of waste into compost and its use in ecological fertilization of the crops has, as a result, coffee fields producing coffees with life. This is an important value and it is the best way to express sustainability on coffee’s cultivation. The Environmental Management Plan includes areas of permanent preservation within the properties. There are approximately fifteen million square meters devoted to preservation and conservation of native species, a commitment of O’Coffee with the future.
